The Valemount Saddle & Wagon Club held a Raymond Scott Riding Clinic at the Saddle Club grounds on Loseth Road on June 23 and 24.
Class started at 9 a.m. each day and ended at 5:15 each day; all classes were full.
With a huge turnout Mr. Scott and his assistant Kim Everard were kept very busy. Kim helped the riders from the ground and Mr. Scott would get on and ride a horse that just couldn’t get what was being taught. When the clinic was over each and everyone of us had learned something new and better in the world of horsemanship.
We all had time between classes to drink coffee, eat hot dogs and visit with old friends.
The Saddle Club would like to thank everyone who supported this event: riders, workers, volunteers, and spectators. Thank you all very much.
R. Meersman is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Valemount Saddle & Wagon Club.
