If you are in the market for a new home, Irene Berndsen, a new realtor in the valley, is looking to serve you.
Berndsen began her career with McBride Realty, but has now decided to go out on her own.
“I am an independent for Royal LePage. I am very enthusiastic, excited about being out there and serving people,” she said.
“I’m relatively knowledgeable. I’ve bought and sold property. I do have some experience in the real estate field but not as a professional.”
Berndsen said that homebuyers and sellers could expect service.
“My big thing is service,” she said. “I want to be accessible, to be caring and to understand my client’s needs and demands,” she said.
“Real estate buying and selling a house is a huge commitment for someone. They need to be happy with it.”
Berndsen will be getting in touch with homebuyers and sellers.
Irene was born in Jasper and lived in Valemount until 1970 and spent 25 years in the Okanagan.
“I’ve seen a lot of changes since that time. I found this area to be a warm, friendly environment and I’m glad to be back,” she said.
While she will be based out of her home in McBride, she plans to focus on McBride, Valemount and Dunster.
“I’ve always wanted to do realty. I like meeting people. I have an interest in property and community development. I like it because where else can you have a job, meet people, go for coffee and actually be working,” she said.
If you are looking for investment property, to upgrade your home, or to settle in the valley, Berndsen hopes to help.
